Key Responsibilities Process Optimization:
Evaluate existing CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machining processes to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce scrap. Cycle & Takt Time Analysis:
Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate labor standards, standard work instructions, and takt times. Tooling & Fixturing:
Design and improve custom work holding fixtures, cutting tools, and automated loading equipment to enhance safety and repeatability.

Layout & Flow Design:
Optimize shop floor layouts for raw materials and finished parts to improve material flow and reduce Work-in-Process (WIP).NC/CAM Integration:
Collaborate with programmers and machinists to prove out new programs and refine cutting parameters (speeds and feeds).Quality & Root Cause Analysis:
Partner with quality teams to resolve dimensional non-conformances and drive corrective actions (e.g., 8D, Fishbone analysis). ERP/BOM Maintenance:
Create and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and process travelers within the ERP system.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related mechanical discipline.

Experience:

5 years of hands-on engineering experience in a precision machining or metal-cutting manufacturing environment.

Technical

Skills:

Strong understanding of CNC machining operations, cutting tools, and blue-print reading/GD&T.Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD).Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.

Methodologies:
Working knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma problem-solving frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.

Experience with machine monitoring software (e.g., Machine Metrics) or advanced data analytics (Power BI).

Experience with robotic automation or pallet-changer systems in high-mix/low-volume or high-volume machining cells.

The pay range for this position is $86,300 - $146,700 annually, exempt.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training.
