Mental Health Practitioner​/Skills Trainer – Sauk Rapids

Overview

Lighthouse Child & Family Services (LCFS) is currently accepting applications for a Mental Health Practitioner/Skills Trainer within our Early Childhood Day Treatment and Home and Community Based Program.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with mental health therapists
• Provide individual, family and group skills training to children and their families in day treatment, home, school, office, telehealth settings
• Complete documentation and data collection in a timely manner
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain continuing education and follow requirements of supervision, as applicable
• Other duties as assigned

An individual is qualified for this position if they:

• Have completed at least 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields
• Have completed a practicum or internship that (i) required direct interaction with adult clients or child clients, and (ii) was focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; or are in the process of completing a practicum or internship as part of a formal undergraduate or graduate training program in social work, psychology, or counseling
• Have at least 2,000 hours of experience in the delivery of services to individuals with a mental illness

• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of an intensive day treatment setting and working in community-based settings and homes
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance, reliable transportation and acceptable driving record
