Temporary Assistant Head Cook

8.0 hrs per day (6:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.), Monday through Friday, beginning immediately through approximately February 10, 2026 with the possibility of extending beyond this date.

Assist Head Cook in preparing/serving food, and cleanup following lunch and breakfast. Take over when the head cook is absent. Help head cook manage inventory and staff.

Must be Serve Safe certified or able to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment. Good communication skills and dependable. Ability to adjust to change quickly, work at a fast pace, and multi-task, fill out order guides and production records accurately, and work with all staff in a professional manner. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures (i.e. heat, freezer).

Knowledge of the following equipment: fryers, slicer, mixers, steamers and ovens.

Salary based on the  Food Service Agreement Level VI from $20.94 up to $23.32 per hour. Benefits based on full-time employment and may be pro-rated for part-time positions. Benefits may include the following:
