## Traveling Laborer

Anderson Underground Anderson Underground is hiring Underground Laborers to support underground utility construction projects. This position involves hands-on outdoor work alongside equipment operators and foremen installing underground utilities, fiber optic cable, telecommunications infrastructure, and conduit.###
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist with trenching, excavation, potholing, back filling, and site restoration.
* Support the installation of underground conduit, cable, and utility infrastructure.
* Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout the jobsite.
* Spot for heavy equipment operators during excavation and underground construction activities.
* Assist with traffic control, barricades, trench boxes, and shoring systems.
* Perform hand digging and work around existing underground utilities.
* Operate basic construction tools, including compactors, tampers, and other hand and power tools.
* Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites.
* Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures.###
** Qualifications
* ** Previous underground utility construction or general labor experience preferred.
* Valid driver's license required.
* Class A CDL preferred but not required.
* Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
* Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours.
* Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.###
** Schedule & Travel
*** 10 days on / 4 days off rotation.
* Approximately 50–55 hours per week, with overtime.
* Travel to project locations as needed.
* Company-paid flights and transportation when applicable.* $175 per working day in per diem, paid weekly.###
