• _ valid certification in Diagnostic Ultrasound (ARDMS, CCI, or equivalent) is required

• _ Current state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist (if applicable) is required_

Job Summary:

Join our team as a Temp - Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General and Vascular imaging. This dynamic role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including biopsies, OB/GYN, vascular venous and arterial studies, abdominal scans, small body parts, intra-cavity imaging, and color Doppler. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort, demonstrating strong critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You Bring:

• Strong technical proficiency in diagnostic ultrasound modalities, including vascular and general imaging

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to independently evaluate images and differentiate normal from pathological findings

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients under physical or emotional stress

• Ability to comprehend and follow physicians' verbal orders and imaging protocols accurately

• Experience working in diverse settings such as inpatient, emergency, and outpatient environments, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

• Self-motivated with a commitment to lifelong learning to stay updated on new procedures, technology, and disease processes

Attention to detail for documentation accuracy and adherence to safety standards

• Ability to successfully sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Preferred

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of a formal Ultrasound Technology program or accredited radiologic program

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in general and vascular ultrasound procedures

• Proficiency in advanced ultrasound techniques and intra-cavity imaging

• Experience with electronic medical record systems and quality assurance processes

• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission, federal, state, and local laws
