Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Hospital Medicine ICU capability - Sault Ste. M

Overview

My Michigan Medical Center Sault has a unique opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the My Michigan Hospital Medicine/Critical Care team in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. A strong focus of this inpatient role will be patient admissions management and complex medical care management with collaboration from remote ICU intensivists. This 7 on 7 off position runs from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Candidates with inpatient experience are highly preferred.

This APP will work in conjunction with hospitalist physicians. There is a robust onboarding and training program as well as a formal mentorship program.

This position will require performing typical ICU procedures.

• AHA approved BLS certification
• Active State of Michigan license or eligible to apply

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Experience preferred.
