As a Field Technician VI at Spectrum, you'll take charge of complex installations and troubleshooting for large enterprise clients. This position is also backwards compatible. Your skills are crucial in ensuring unparalleled support and system reliability.

Our Field Technicians work outdoors, utilizing hand tools in a variety of environments. Enjoy the independence and confidence that comes with providing support and technical solutions to high-end customers.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

• Valid Driver’s license with safe driving record within company standards required.

• Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities and other locations as necessary.

• Fluent in English.

• Must be a Field Technician V and must have completed courses for Field Technician VI.

• Walk over various terrains and weather conditions while carrying tools and equipment.
• Safely use weight‑bearing equipment (up to 345 lbs) and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Climb ladders up to 32 feet and work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments. Work with small components and wires.
• Work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather.

• Understanding of Spectrum products and services.

• NCTI Master Technician Certification, HFC Networks Certification, or SCTE Business Class Service Specialist. Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician Certification, or Cisco Certified Network Associate.
