Position: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Permanent, Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk – BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION  Salary Range: $56,091.30 to $68,560.99

Job Summary  The Accounts Payable Clerk ensures the accuracy and timely processing of internal and external payments, daily administration of the procure-to-pay process, and support of the Agency’s general ledger. The role functions within legislative requirements and contributes to the strategic priorities of Nogdawindamin Family and Community Services.
Qualifications   Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
Two (2) years’ experience in accounting with Sage Accpac Software
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Other Requirements   Respect for, sensitivity towards and understanding of Anishnawbek culture, traditions and the Seven Grandfather Teachings
Ability to understand and speak Anishnaabemowin is a definite asset
Must provide a Criminal Records Check deemed satisfactory by the employer
Must have a Class ‘G’ Ontario Driver’s Licence, access to a vehicle and ability to travel
Must have $1M automobile insurance coverage
