Position: Scheduling and Attendance Specialist at Extendicare

Take on an essential role at Extendicare as a Scheduling and Attendance Specialist, focusing on effective staff management and high-quality resident care. Your efforts will enhance operational efficiency.

As part of Extendicare's leadership team, you'll manage staffing schedules for all departments using the Workday Scheduling System. You will oversee employee absences and ensure payroll accuracy through validated reports, while also participating in health and safety discussions.

Your role will directly contribute to creating an enriched environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and assign employee work schedules effectively

• Address staffing vacancies due to unplanned absences

• Validate hours worked and ensure payroll accuracy

• Assist with administration of employee leave and health incidents

• Organize and document Joint Health and Safety meetings

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in business administration or related field

• Proven experience in managing employee attendance

• Strong organizational and communication abilities

• Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly

• Passion for enhancing the quality of resident care
