Instructor Part-Time and Casual​/On-Call

Overview

1 Position: 22 hours per week temporary fill (Blind River)

1 Position: 0-22 hours per week, on call casual; travel between both sites (Elliot Lake, Blind River)

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday

Pay: $24/hour

• Develop and deliver training programs using various instructional techniques
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback on performance
• Participate in the development of meaningful learning activities
• Understand the needs of our vulnerable populations and be able to assist in the achievement of their academic goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred but not necessary)
• Experience working with Get Set (Skills, Education and Training)
• Strong computer skills
• Access to a vehicle for traveling, Valid Driving Licence
• Experience with using Ontario Adult Literacy Curriculum Framework is an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to educate and communicate concepts effectively
