Highway Project Contract Administrator

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Manage contracts for highway projects as a skilled Contract Administrator. Ensure compliance, oversee budgets, and foster effective communication with stakeholders.

You will play a pivotal role in administering contracts associated with large-scale construction on highways. The role includes supervising staff, performing quality checks, and liaising with the Ministry of Transportation. This is an independent position requiring a high degree of responsibility, ideal for someone seeking new challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer MTO contracts and manage communications

• Supervise inspection staff and mentor team members

• Maintain relationships with clients and contractors

• Conduct quality control to meet Ministry standards

• Monitor budget, ensuring accurate reporting and expense tracking

Requirements:

• Hold RCCA certification with OACETT

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on related projects

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Valid Class G driver's license and personal vehicle needed
