Medical Radiation Technologist​/Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound and radiographic examinations
• Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during radiographic and ultrasound examinations
• Perform ECG’s
• Ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed for each study
• Perform mobile radiography/ mobile sonography
• Maintain equipment, as well as a clean, organized and safe workspace
• Comply with patient safety and confidentiality policies
• Provide emergency or on-call service as needed
• Some clerical duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Current registration with C.M.R. I.T.O. for MRT and DMS is required
• Competent in all aspects of general sonography (abdomen, pelvis, vascular for DVT, obstetrics, gynecology, small parts)
• Previous experience with PACS and Meditech is beneficial
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team

• Strong organizational skills combined with effective problem solving abilities

• Fluency in both official languages is an asset
