Weekend Janitor – Part Time Casual, Bathurst, New Brunswick

Interfor is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Weekend Janitor – Part Time Casual in Bathurst, New Brunswick.

• Work Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Report to Maintenance Supervisor
• Work with all required PPE and communicate effectively to ensure safety for yourself and co-workers
• Clean bathrooms at the mill and garage; replenish hand towels and toilet paper dispensers
• Clean the supervisor’s office, electrician’s office, kiln’s office, stockroom office and maintenance office
• Clean lunchroom at sawmill and garage; empty all garbage cans
• Clean locker rooms
• Clean stairways and hallway at sawmill main entrance
• Ensure all drinking water bottles and cup dispensers are replenished
• During winter months, ensure the main entrance is cleaned and safe
• Report any safety hazards and breakdowns to the supervisor
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in a janitorial/cleaner role is an asset
• Availability to work on Saturday and Sunday
• Ability to work independently
