Non Ferrous Receiver at AIM

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

American Iron & Metal is hiring a Non Ferrous Receiver for their Sault Ste. Marie location. This full-time role focuses on metal sorting, forklift operation, and site maintenance.

As a Non Ferrous Receiver, you will contribute to the team's success under the Site Manager's guidance. This position requires experience in metal recycling and involves weighing trucks, maintaining premises, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates must be safety-oriented and fit to handle a physically demanding role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize ferrous metals

• Weigh trucks using the RECY system

• Perform general maintenance on the premises

• Ensure equipment is in good working order

• Provide customer service to clients on-site

Requirements:

• Good computer skills for operational tasks

• Experience operating a crane strongly preferred

• Prior experience in metal recycling is a plus

• Ability to work indoors/outdoors regardless of weather

• Strong physical fitness for practical tasks
