DM Burr, a well-respected building maintenance provider, is hiring a Full Time Custodian to maintain Sault Ste. Marie Public Schools. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks, operating machinery, and performing minor maintenance tasks. Bring your attention to detail and hard work to ensure a safe and welcoming space for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use cleaning machines to maintain floors and surfaces
• Empty and clean trash bins regularly
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
• Maintain records of cleaning procedures
• Report safety issues and perform light maintenance
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent needed
• 0-6 months of relevant cleaning experience
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and follow detailed instructions
• Capable of working independently and in a team
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
