Complex Continuing Care Nurse Position

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Sault Area Hospital seeks a dedicated nurse for Complex Continuing Care 2C. Collaborate with health care providers to deliver comprehensive patient care and health education.

As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize your nursing practice standards in assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care. The role demands strong competencies in IV Therapy and the ability to handle restorative and rehabilitative care effectively. You will work closely with nursing staff to achieve positive outcomes and ensure data accuracy in patient care documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare providers in patient care plans

• Implement and assess care using nursing practice standards

• Provide health teaching to patients and their families

• Collect and document patient care data accurately

• Utilize mechanical equipment for patient care as needed

Requirements:

• Ontario nursing certificate of competency

• Demonstrated competencies in IV Therapy

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to continuing education in Gerontology

• Experience with restorative and rehabilitative care
