In this essential nursing role, you will effectively employ the Standards of Nursing Practice to assess and facilitate patient care. Your clinical decisions will enhance nursing effectiveness within available healthcare resources, while promoting the Hospital Mission and Nursing Philosophy. Engage in theory-driven practice while contributing to the nursing objectives for your unit, ensuring quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate the nursing care provided

• Deliver health teaching and support to patients' families

• Utilize clinical judgment for best nursing practices

• Engage in a collaborative theory-based nursing approach

• Assist in developing and implementing Nursing objectives

Requirements:

• Approved Diploma in Practical Nursing required

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Certification in venipuncture (IV skills)

• Relevant recent inpatient nursing experience

• Background in geriatric and palliative care
