As a full-time Assistant Director of Care, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective nursing practices while assisting in the management of the nursing team. Your work will include assessing and improving care strategies and leading best practices in resident safety and quality of life. Collaborate closely with the Director of Care to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality improvement and risk management systems

• Mentor and guide nursing personnel effectively

• Lead assessments for High Intensity Needs programs

• Direct the implementation of compliance updates

• Advocate for resident-centered care approaches

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least three years in long-term care

• Prior management experience beneficial

• Familiarity with RAI MDS essential

• Solid knowledge of geriatric care practices
