Sault Area Hospital is on the lookout for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join its addiction medicine team. This role involves providing advanced clinical leadership in addiction care and mental health services. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in initiating treatment protocols and fostering partnerships with healthcare colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams for holistic patient care

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostics

• Formulate treatment plans and guide care providers

• Lead addiction and mental health service improvements

• Create clinical guidelines and medical directives

Requirements:

• RN (EC) registration from Ontario College of Nurses

• A minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience

• Basic/Cardiac Life Support, ACLS, and AED certification

• Active enrollment in addiction treatment certifications

• Strong knowledge of biopsychosocial support models
