Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking Travel RN LTC (Long Term Care) for a travel contract position in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Accepting traveler candidates only. Must live 100+ from the facility.

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week (Wk1: M/T/We, Wk2: Th/F/Sa, Wk3: Su/T/We; Wk4: Th/F/Sa)

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
• Long Term Care (LTC) Nursing experience:
  Recent/Current 2 years – Required
• 2 Supervisory reference - Required

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of MI - Required
• BLS Certification from AHA
  - Required

Job Description:

• Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing– Long Term Care, the Registered Nurse assists with total nursing carefor the Adult/Geriatric, pediatric, & adolescent patient/resident
• Participates in patient/resident and family teaching and works in cooperation with ancillarynursing staff to maintain the standards form professional nursing practice inthe clinical setting.
• The Registered Nurse is seen as a role model for exhibiting the Behavioral Standards and Customer Service expectations of the facility.
• Implements nursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practice and established policy.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided to ensure quality care and patient related issues are completed in atimely manner.
• Self-Management and accountability for delivery of responsible patient care, demonstrates effective communication skills and interpersonal relationships.
