Part Time Rehabilitation Practical Nurse

Apply practical nursing standards in Rehab 2B while delivering rehabilitative patient care as a part time Registered Practical Nurse. Use clinical judgment daily.

Sault Area Hospital seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for Rehab 2B on a part time basis. The position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through the Nursing Process. You will provide health teaching, support restorative care, and apply theory based nursing practice. Current venipuncture certification and Ontario registration are required.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Provide health teaching to patients and families
• Make clinical decisions within available resources
• Participate in nursing and unit objective development
• Follow occupational health and safety requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Registration must remain in good standing
• Current venipuncture or I.V. certification
• Clinical competency with rehabilitative care patients
