SGS is poised to hire General, Welding, and Coating Inspectors for multiple positions in Northern Ontario, commencing in early July 2026. This role involves active participation in safety protocols and compliance monitoring throughout integrity dig activities. Ideal candidates will possess a solid background in pipeline inspections, ensuring robust project execution through to mid-November 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor contractor activities for compliance

• Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments

• Oversee excavation and construction processes

• Review Inspection Test Plans and quality documentation

• Maintain project records and reports

Requirements:

• 3+ years of General Inspection experience

• API 1169 and API 1184 Certifications

• Strong knowledge of pipeline processes

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred:
Significant oil and gas experience
