Northern Ontario Pipeline Inspector Positions

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

SGS seeks experienced Pipeline Inspectors for multiple locations in Northern Ontario starting July 2026. Enjoy competitive pay of $900 per day handling General, Welding, or Coating inspections.

With 6–8 positions available, this initiative is focused on supporting a large integrity dig program.

Your role will depend on your specialization, ensuring quality and compliance in field operations. Join our team to leverage your industry knowledge in a critical project through November 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor contractor activities and compliance

• Attend safety meetings and perform hazard assessments

• Verify adherence to safety plans and quality standards

• Oversee excavation and related construction tasks

• Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation

Requirements:

• 3+ years for General; 2+ years for Coating; 8–10 years for Welding Inspectors

• API certifications required

• Familiarity with pipeline construction

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience in oil & gas or industrial sectors
