Client Community Liaison Internship

The Client Community Liaison plays a vital role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, particularly men and families, by connecting them to essential community resources. Working within a shelter environment, this position focuses on advocacy, outreach, transitional support, and resource navigation to assist clients in achieving stability and long-term well-being.
The Officer facilitates access to housing, social assistance (Ontario Works), counseling services, addiction and detox programs, and other community supports.
They also lead community presentations and activities, organize events, and advocate for systemic changes on behalf of homeless and marginalized populations.
