Location: Sault Ste. Marie
Become a pivotal part of CMHA Algoma as a Housing Case Manager. Support individuals with mental illness and disabilities at risk of homelessness through compassionate case management.
As a Housing Case Manager, you'll deliver essential community-based services. This role requires leveraging your expertise in mental health and addictions to connect clients to necessary resources, fostering wellbeing while aligning with CMHA Algoma's mission. You will assess needs, plan for crises, and guide clients with compassion to enhance their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver case management for individuals with mental health disorders
• Provide housing support services to at-risk clients
• Coordinate with supportive housing rent supplement units
• Assist clients in crisis planning and coping mechanism development
• Monitor client engagement with provided services
Requirements:
• University degree in Human Services or related field
• Three years in mental health and addictions support
• Current OCSWSSW registration or equivalent
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and ASIST
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
