Northern Ontario Recycling Driver Position

Location: Sault Ste. Marie

Become a Recycling Driver with Emterra Group and support environmentally-friendly practices in Northern Ontario. Ensure safe collection of recyclables while delivering top-notch service to local communities.

In this vital role, you’ll manage the operation of recycling vehicles, maintaining routes that service multiple municipalities from Wawa to Timmins. An Ontario DZ driver’s license and a proactive approach to safety are required as you engage with clients and ensure timely collections. Overnight travel is a standard part of this job, adding variety to your work week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate recycling collection vehicles

• Serve various customer sites according to the routes

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks

• Maintain streamlined communication with operations

• Provide high-quality customer service in all interactions

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with clean record

• At least one year of driving experience

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel extensively

• Flexible schedule for rotating work days

• Strong time management and independent working skills
