Join Canada Post as an on-call Letter Carrier in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Deliver mail and packages to your community while enjoying outdoor work and interaction with customers.
In this temporary delivery agent role, you will serve a dual purpose: sorting and delivering mail. Use a Canada Post vehicle to transport items, and engage with the community while ensuring timely deliveries. Your commitment and physical ability to lift packages play a vital role in maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort and prepare deliveries at the depot
• Load Canada Post vehicle for the day’s routes
• Deliver mail and packages by foot or vehicle
• Unload incoming mail for future deliveries
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with 3 years' safe driving
• Ability to lift 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry 15.9 kg (35 lb)
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Availability for on-call shifts
• Proficient in English or French
