Cloud System Administrator

Wyetech is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer Skill Level 2 to design, develop, deploy, and sustain resilient cloud-native applications and infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments. The selected candidate will work across cloud architecture, microservices, containerization, distributed data pipelines, automated testing, and CI/CD while supporting highly scalable cloud solutions.

This position provides cloud software research, development, and engineering services throughout the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, sustainment, testing, validation, and issue diagnosis and resolution.

• Design and implement resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-native architectures.
• Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java/Spring Boot or Python.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker
  , emphasizing optimized image layering, security, and performance.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
• Create interactive, data-driven dashboards and visualization tools using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Solid
  .
• Support software requirements analysis, development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.

• Orchestrate complex services within Kubernetes environments, including management of deployments, ingress controllers, service meshes, and stateful workloads.
• Design and implement distributed data pipelines to efficiently ingest, process, and store high-volume data.
• Ensure seamless data flow between cloud storage, microservices, and application layers while maintaining high availability.

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and cloud-readiness testing

• Develop and implement software test plans and test scripts.
• Monitor system health and performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks within production environments.
  
  Diagnose and resolve software, integration, cloud, and application issues.
• Support software integration and validation throughout the development lifecycle.

• Partner with data architects, Dev Ops teams, engineers, and product managers to align technical solutions with mission and business objectives.
• Produce clear technical documentation covering architectural patterns, deployment workflows, operational procedures, and software-development activities.
• Collaborate across technical disciplines to integrate and extend FOSS/COTS products

• Communicate technical concepts, system designs, requirements, and operational procedures effectively to technical stakeholders.

• Clearance:
  Active TS/SCI with current Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) is required.
• Five (5) or more years of directly related software engineering or cloud-development experience
  .
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
• A Master’s degree in a technical field may be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.
