Construction Estimator​/Project Finance Coordinator

Stonewing Builders is an expanding general contracting firm specializing in small to mid-sized municipal, ADA, and capital improvement projects. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Project Finance Coordinator to support estimating, cost
tracking, and compliance as we grow our presence in educational, governmental and public sector contracting through clear and steady communication.

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for public and commercial construction
  projects
• Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop competitive proposals
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain bids and pricing
• Maintain CRM systems (e.g., Hub Spot, Pipedrive) to track bids and client outreach
• Track budgets and assist with profitability analysis and reporting
• Manage bid submissions and documentation for city, school district, and government
  clients (via platforms like Quest
  
  CDN or Building Connected)
• Support Davis-Bacon compliance, certified payroll, and subcontractor onboarding
• Assist with purchasing, invoicing, AP/AR, and closeout documentation

• 3+ years in estimating, project finance, or construction administration
• Familiarity with public project compliance, certified payroll, and Davis-Bacon wage rules
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, RFQ’s and construction platforms such as Bluebeam or Procore
• Organized, analytical, and a strong communicator
• Hard-working and high-integrity team player

• Starting as hourly, contract-to-hire:
  This position will begin as a W-9 hourly contractor role (rate DOE), with the opportunity to convert to a salaried employee position after a successful performance period
