This position may be located at any of our manufacturing facilities:
Savage, MN, Tamarac, FL, Auburn Hills, MI, or Mentor, OH.

• Support and manage assigned engineering project tasks from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget under the guidance of senior engineers or managers.
• Provide hands‑on technical expertise in PLC programming, robotics integration, and automation troubleshooting to support manufacturing processes and project implementation.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and modifying engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including design, operations, maintenance, procurement, and construction, to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during all phases of project work.
• Participate in risk assessments and assist in implementing mitigation strategies to address technical and operational challenges.
• Prepare technical documentation, progress updates, and reports for project stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing operations.
• Assist with training of operators, technicians, and junior team members on new processes, robotics, and automation systems.
• Support vendor and contractor coordination, including equipment evaluations and basic performance oversight, under the direction of senior staff.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction in collaboration with engineering leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Occasional travel required (up to 25–40%) for project implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, project implementation, or process improvement.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, and automation technologies required.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies preferred.

The pay range for this role is USD $84,315.00/yr – $/yr. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including location, the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
