Restorations by Highmark is adding a Senior Sales Estimator to our team. The role involves assessing property damage, preparing accurate estimates, and securing contracts for restoration projects. This includes site inspections, estimating restoration work, presenting proposals to clients, and maintaining relationships with insurance adjusters and stakeholders.

Base and supplemental pay includes commissions and bonuses that could adjust yearly earnings to $70,000-$250,000.

Job Responsibilities
  • First point of contact with homeowners for restoration insurance claims including water, fire, storm damage etc.
  • Conduct thorough on-site inspections of properties damaged by water, fire, mold or other disasters.
  • Assess the extent of damage and determine scope of necessary restoration work.
  • Document findings through photos, videos, and detailed notes.
  • Site visits and inspections for insurance property claims.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for restoration projects using industry-standard software such as Xactimate or Symbility.
  • Develop comprehensive project proposals, including scope of work, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with insurance company requirements and industry standards.
  • Meet with homeowners to guide them through the insurance claim process.
  • Present estimates and proposals to clients, explaining scope of work and addressing questions.
  • Negotiate contracts and secure agreements for restoration services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project management team to ensure smooth handoff of awarded projects.
  • Provide detailed project information to ensure accurate execution of restoration plan.
  • Follow up with clients and adjusters to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Communicate with job supervisors and project managers to complete projects.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of estimates, proposals, contracts, and communications.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, estimates, and project statuses.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restoration industry.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company’s services.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience estimating restoration insurance work or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and client relationship management.
  • Proficiency in estimating software such as Xactimate or Symbility.
  • Strong understanding of restoration processes, building materials, and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze damage and develop accurate estimates and project scopes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to pass MVR screening.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
  • Must pass a background check.
