Outside Sales Representative (Full-Time) – Minneapolis, MN

Exteriors by Highmark is a residential and commercial exterior company that specializes in new construction and remodels for roofing, siding, windows, and gutters. We are looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to our team. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the full sales cycle with customers and insurance companies to complete exterior remodeling projects.

Pay

$40K – $180K – Uncapped Commission

Responsibilities
  • Manage schedule, leads, in‑home visits, and appointments
  • Accurately estimate projects
  • Develop your own leads by various means
  • Follow up on provided leads and communicate status with the sales manager
  • Provide quality customer interaction
  • Present estimates to customers and create contracts
  • Communicate and follow through with insurance companies when dealing with claims
  • Attend regular sales meetings

Qualifications
  • Direct-to-consumer sales experience
  • In‑home sales experience
  • Experience in the construction industry preferred
  • Understanding of roofing and siding a plus
  • Good customer service skills
  • Intermediate level proficiency in computers – including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate customers
  • Must be able/willing to climb ladders and walk on a roof
  • Experience with Xactimate a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to pass an MVR screening
  • Must pass a background check
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
