Description
Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC-R Service/Install Technician are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. This position involves performing HVAC-R system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- HVAC-R system troubleshooting and repair of units.
- Installation of commercial HVAC-R systems, ductwork, specialty equipment and start up.
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of commercial HVAC units
- Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment.
- On Call duties as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required.
- Ability to learn and take direction from crew Foreman
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date.
- NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
- No fear of heights
- Lift 50+ lbs
