Highmark Companies is looking for a highly motivated Carpenter who can work independently as well as on a team. Carpenters play a crucial role in the construction of custom‑designed homes, restorations, home services, and exterior projects. Their responsibilities include tasks related to construction, ensuring that the finished product meets the specifications and expectations of Highmark and the client. This position will assist on projects with Highmark Builders, Restorations by Highmark, Exteriors by Highmark, and Highmark Home Services.
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Responsibilities- Perform tasks related to carpentry, which include but aren’t limited to:
- Demolition
- Framing
- Interior trim
- Power tool usage
- Layout
- Construction assemblies
- Drywall hanging and finishing
- Tile installation
- Cabinetry
- Siding repairs
- Window and door installation
- Insulation
- Install, repair and maintain exterior structures such as roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks and facades
- Follow directions from site supervisor and measure accurately using a standard tape measure and speed square
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and finishing
- Complete various tasks as requested by management

- Carpentry experience or formal training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high‑quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure
- Provide your own tool belt with hand tools
- Knowledge of both hand and power tools preferred
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
