The Administrative Assistant 3 position will provide high level administrative support to the Executive Director of the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center (GCITC). The position will work collaboratively and demonstrate a high level of professionalism as they effectively interact with executive level staff, external constituents, and all levels in the organization. The position will provide a variety of administrative support functions and will embrace the unit goals, standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide advanced administrative support to the Executive Director, including making and receiving phone calls, participating in planning agendas, coordinating and arranging meetings, scheduling, maintaining documentation, and prioritizing conflicting needs.
- Human Resources Support: Assist the Business Operations Director with human resource support functions, update job descriptions, participate in recruitment, schedule interviews, prepare and maintain interview questions, submit information in OneUSG, facilitate hiring of Skillbridge interns, and coordinate approvals for Director level leave requests.
- Knowledge: Assist the Executive Director with strategy and implementation, maintain knowledge of vision, mission, and strategic goals, update documentation, gather information from Directors, and compile executive summaries.
- Travel: Prepare travel authorizations, arrange complex travel itineraries for the Executive Director, compile travel documents, track reimbursements, and maintain comprehensive travel records.
- Other: Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and five years of directly applicable experience.
- High school diploma or GED from a State or Federal accrediting organization and eight years of directly applicable experience.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience working in a high-level administrative support capacity.
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) Certification.
- Experience with Airtable or other data management software platforms.
- Familiarity with strategy development and implementation.
- Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working in an executive office environment.
- Skills: Effective organization, initiative, excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, adaptability, and agility.
- Abilities: Maintain confidentiality, work effectively with a wide variety of individuals and groups, handle confidential information with discretion, and provide the highest level of customer and client service.
Shift: Days/M-F
Pay Band: B6
Salary:
Minimum $18.85/hour; salary to be commensurate with qualifications within the established range.
