Accounts Specialist

• Perform cashiering, administrative support, basic accounts processing, and financial recording duties.
• Receive, record, reconcile, and deposit collected departmental revenues.
• Ensure proper receipt of fees and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize your communication and customer service skills in performing all duties.
• Assist vendors, the public, inmates, and staff by phone and in person.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing data entry, typing, and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED, and
• College-level course work in accounting, bookkeeping, or a closely related field, and
• At least one (1) year of cashier, data entry, administrative assistant, or general clerical experience; or
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Selected candidates will be required to complete clerical testing during the interview process.
