The Rental Management Trainee is designed to be completed in 18‑24 months and provides general Rental Management training in addition to specific training in Finance, Operations, Human Resources and Sales/Marketing. The incumbent will be assigned to operational and administrative tasks in support of location and regional management, meeting the business unit’s fast‑paced schedule.
Essential Functions- Handle sales and processing for inbound calls and outbound solicitation.
- Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database.
- Generate rental, lease, and used‑vehicle sales leads.
- Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards.
- Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing sales and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies.
- Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base.
- On a voluntary basis and based on scheduling, perform the role of On‑Call Representative as determined by the Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Computer literate (intermediate level).
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- One (1) year or more of customer‑service or issue‑resolution experience preferred.

CompensationPosition may be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and/or type. Base salary range: $52,000.
