Southern Belle Vacation Rentals is seeking an experienced Reservationist to join our team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vacation rental guest services and reservations, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our reservation process and delivering exceptional customer service to our valued guests.The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen ability to efficiently handle incoming calls, assist with reservations, confirmations, and maintenance requests, while providing accurate and helpful information to guests. You will be expected to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Savannah and Tybee events, activities, and dining options to better assist our guests in planning their perfect vacation. The Reservationist must possess a natural aptitude for problem-solving and be able to handle guest issues and complaints with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.

- Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, maintenance requests, and questions.
- Sell, process and enter and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of current Savannah and Tybee events, activities, hours of operation as well as dining options currently available.
- Provide guests with appropriate property information, directions to the properties, while up-selling when appropriate.
- Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Use supervisor support when necessary.
- Post charges to guest accounts as designated.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous vacation rental guest service and reservations experience is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent computer and typing skills are required.
- Previous call-center experience preferred.
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills required.
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience. Some college preferred.
- Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
Hourly Rate:$22 an hour
