POSITION SUMMARY:

The Admissions Representative
- Anesthesiologist Assistant programis responsible for the recruitment of qualified applicants for admission to the University in accordance with state and federal accreditation and institution policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards. The Admissions Representative is responsible for managing time and inquiry resources to generate interest in the Anesthesiologist Assistant Program and campus. This includes reviewing applications, organizing recruitment and interview events, responding to potential applicant inquiries and questions, and completing the necessary steps for successful enrollment of accepted applicants.

They will workinterdepartmentally with student support services to ensure students are maintained and successfully matriculated.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Accurately and completely explain educational programs,expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations to students, parents, and educators.
  • Answer inquiries and applicant questions regarding admissions requirements.
  • Manage the program’s admissions database (WebAdMIT) and participate in system training and updates.
  • Coordinate interviews (on-campus/virtual) for candidates for admission.
  • Assist program leadership with planning and implementing new student orientation.
  • Oversee the entry of matriculant data and scanning of admissions documents into the university’s student database.
  • Manage student portal issues and update Campus Nexus with student academic progress as needed.
  • Ensure accurate, timely student registration by building courses to move all students through the academic curriculum without delay.
  • Facilitate completion of required matriculant activities for accepted students (payment of tuition deposit, FA meetings,complete Enrollment Agreement, registration, etc.)
  • Participate in recruitment activities for the Anesthesiologist Assistant program, including but not limited to program open houses, college visits, and community/university outreach.
  • Supervise the administration of systems such as Complio for tracking background checks, immunizations, and pre-matriculation requirements.
  • Assist in the development and revision of the program’smarketing/promotional materials, including but not limited to print materials and website.
  • Participate in service endeavors related to AA program admissions.
  • Assist in planning program activities: orientation, graduation,CPR certification courses, alumni events.
  • Host prospective student campus tours.
