Senior Civil Engineer to lead design deliverables for industrial, commercial, retail and residential projects in private industry or public agencies. Directly collaborate with engineers, technicians, surveyors and clients.

• Accountable to the project Engineer of Record for coordination and preparation of design deliverables in accordance with the established technical standards, cost and schedule.
• Perform engineering tasks, including calculations, plans, specifications and drawings.
• Provide field verification activities for construction projects.
• Coordinate resolution of field questions related to field change notices and design change notices.

• Technical knowledge of engineering systems, calculations, and application of engineering methods and materials, and use of computer software to ensure cost effective design in accordance with applicable safety, health, environmental regulations, customer requirements and engineering codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318.
• Working knowledge of engineering procedures, covering discipline deliverables, production and control, and organization and responsibilities for the Engineering Department.
• Knowledge of engineering discipline (Civil or Structural).
• Desire to utilize engineering skills concurrently in project management.
• Experience in resolving complex technical problems and the ability to articulate explanations.
• Excellent listening, oral and written communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Experience in AutoCAD.

• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• EIT registration.
