We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to join our team in Savannah. In this role, you’ll support plant operations by driving process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve plant productivity, quality, cost, and safety.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across utilities and manufacturing processes.
- Optimize daily operations to enhance capacity, yield, quality, and EHS outcomes.
- Develop expertise in site equipment and processes; lead or contribute to training and knowledge sharing.
- Manage small capital projects and assist in the execution of larger capital initiatives with corporate engineering.
- Oversee safe and efficient start‑up of new equipment or processes and support annual maintenance shutdowns.
- Promote a strong EHS culture, supporting RCMS, PSM, ISO, and quality compliance goals.
- Contribute to cost control, budgeting, and mechanical integrity programs to ensure reliable plant performance.
- Preferred: 5 years minimum industrial experience in a chemical process environment, including troubleshooting and plant maintenance guidance.
- 3–5 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Capital project development and management experience required.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite is a minimum; SAP and DCS systems experience is strongly preferred.
- Process Safety Management (PSM) and Responsible Care (RC) experience are highly desirable.
- PLC experience – preferably Delta‑V.
- BS in Chemical Engineering or other comparable technical discipline, minimum.
The expected compensation range for this position is between $83,500 and $139,100 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
