Senior Controller

Senior Controller - Savannah (onsite)

Accountable for all Financial Management of the company including but not limited to:
Financial Planning and Strategy, Managing Profitability, Strategic Planning, Quality Management, Promoting Process Improvement, Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Developing Budgets, Financial Skills, Dealing with Complexity, and Contract Negotiation.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated experience partnering with business owners (P&L owners) to help them understand and drive business performance.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting.
• Experience should include legal, audit, compliance, budget, and resource development. Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies, and guiding investment in people and systems.
• Proven effectiveness leading a team in finance and accounting.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Statements from ERP System, cloud based general ledger. Prepare information and KPIs for business leaders to use to manage their businesses.
• Work with Audit firm on Federal & State Tax returns.
• Ensure Depreciation Schedules are prepared and reconciled quarterly. Prepare and reconcile schedules and review all property taxes. Prepare covenant schedules for lenders as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, master’s in accounting (Preferred) or CPA (Preferred).
• At least 6 years of professional experience in a Controller role.
• Experience working in a manufacturing business.
• Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
• Base salary 140k-165k plus benefits.
