Employbridge is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to provide leadership and support for EHS programs at our client’s North American headquarters. The EHS Manager will develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental programs to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations while driving a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and corporate EHS requirements.
  • Lead, implement, and sustain safety programs, policies, and training initiatives.
  • Identify hazards and drive improvements using tools such as Safe Work Observations and Ergonomic Evaluations.
  • Conduct EHS inspections and audits, generate reports, and communicate findings.
  • Provide day‑to‑day safety and health guidance to employees and contractors.
  • Partner with managers and employees to build and sustain a strong safety culture.
  • Manage employee injury cases, working with medical professionals and claims teams.
  • Develop and deliver new hire and refresher safety training programs.
  • Serve as Incident Commander during emergency responses.
  • Perform additional EHS duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry Standards (29 CFR 1910).
  • Ability to pass all pre‑employment screenings.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Environmental certifications or fire protection experience preferred.
  • Proven success in leading EHS programs within large‑scale operations.
  • In‑depth understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence across all levels.
  • Skilled in training development, delivery, and EHS program implementation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and performing repetitive physical activities.
  • Must be able to work in varying environments (hot, cold, dusty).
  • Occasional ladder climbing and work at heights required.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and use of hands for tools and controls.
