Speech Therapist

• Directs, supervises, evaluates and provides speech therapy services to patients as prescribed by the attending physician. Maintains open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.
• Completes all required documentation according to agency policies and procedures. Collaborates with all personnel through patient Team Conference to identify, clarify and respond to the needs of the patient.
• Performs therapeutic modalities and observations needed to provide direct care. Develops home exercise programs and instructs patients and caregivers on equipment. Evaluates, treats and instructs patients and caregivers using equipment and modalities in accordance with therapy guidelines.
• Maintains reliable transportation and ability to travel as required.

• Education:
  
  Masters of Healthcare - Required
• Experience:
  
  1 Year clinical - Preferred
• Professional License with State of Practice - Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
• Able to communicate in an understandable manner. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
