Responsibilities include providing certifications, nutrition education, and food package changes to clients in person, over the phone, and virtually. Serves as a resource on nutrition and dietetics to healthcare providers, recommends nutritional care plans, and documents progress.
Work Schedule:
M-F with 13 paid holidays. Excellent benefits package included.
All Coastal Health District employees are deemed essential during emergencies and may be called upon to participate in activities such as staffing shelters, SPOC, and PODs, regardless of work hours.
Key Responsibilities:Nutritionist 1: Bachelor's in dietetics, human nutrition, or related field, plus verification of completion of an accredited didactic program. Starting salary: $41,923.38
Nutritionist 2: Same as above, plus two years of experience in nutrition care. Starting salary: $46,115.72
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with GA WIC program
- Knowledge of current dietary guidelines
- 3+ years in nutrition education and counseling
- Licensed Dietitian
