Duties and Expectations

1. Happy Guests

  • Guest Relations: Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile.
  • Name Use: Use the guests’ names whenever possible, ensuring they feel properly welcomed.
  • Guest Satisfaction: All team members work together to achieve excellent scores.
  • Recovery: Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency.
  • Hotel Knowledge: Have strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities.
  • Events: Awareness and support for all hotel groups and events.
  • Technology: Understand relevant technology for each role.
  • Phone Etiquette: Answer calls with friendly service and approved greeting.

2. Spotless Cleanliness

  • Sparking Clean Work spaces: Keep all areas front and back of house clean.
  • Pitching In: Pitch in to clean rooms and public spaces as needed, ensuring organization and safety.
  • Hospitality While Cleaning: Greet guests with a smile while cleaning.

3. Product Consistancy & Quality

  • Checklists 100% Accuracy: Finish checklists accurately and on time each shift.
  • Shift Handover Reports: Reports accurate and timely for shift communication.
  • Flawless Uniform: All wear clean approved uniform, name tag and smile.

4. Teamwork

  • Communication: Clear, honest, professional.
  • Can Do Attitude: Willing to stretch beyond traditional role.

  • Experience: Hospitality, service or franchise background preferred.
  • Can‑Do Attitude: Positive and willing to learn.

  • Handle Pace and Pressure: Work in high‑pressure situations.
  • Listening, Conflict Resolution: Listen, clarify and resolve concerns.
  • Communication

  • Age Requirement: 18 years or older.
  • Schedule and Travel: Work varied schedule incl evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Clock‑in/Out: Arrive on time, clock out on time; no off‑clock work.
  • Breaks: Clock in/out for breaks when scheduled.
  • Call Outs: Provide notice when calling out.

Physical Working Demands & Working Environment: Must stand or remain stationary for long periods (3‑4 hrs) and handle light to moderate workload. Must operate computers, plug into devices, enter data, operate telephone, manipulate objects and lift up to 25 lbs. Inspect and observe details at close range within a few feet and from long range.

  • Read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
