Ideal Hospitality is actively recruiting an experienced General Manager to join our leadership team.

The Ideal candidate has operational experience with a major hotel brand such as IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or a comparable select-service platform and is looking for an opportunity to continue growing professionally.

Our General Managers love hospitality and understand the realities of the business. They enjoy the fast pace, the problem solving, the people, and even the grind that comes with operating a successful hotel.

The successful candidate will be flexible in their management approach while maintaining the discipline necessary to establish routines, accountability, and operating standards that consistently drive guest satisfaction and profitable results.

Just as important, our General Managers must be willing to learn, embrace, and adapt to Ideal Hospitality’s established operating procedures, management principles, systems, and expectations. We encourage individual leadership styles and independent thinking, but our hotels operate as part of a larger organization. Successful leaders understand when to adapt their approach, collaborate with above-property support, and align their hotel with proven Ideal operating practices.

We are looking for a leader with the vision, energy, and interpersonal skills to move an operation forward while building a team that takes pride in its performance.

• Minimum of five years of hotel experience demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility.
• Prior hotel leadership experience with a demonstrated record of achieving operational, financial, and guest-service results.
• Experience with a major hotel brand such as IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or similar preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, revenue management, and financial performance.
• Ability to adapt management practices to Ideal Hospitality operating procedures, systems, standards, and leadership expectations.
• Comfortable working within an organization that emphasizes accountability, operating routines, continuous improvement, and collaboration with above-property leadership.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and common hotel technology platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to evaluate situations and select appropriate courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Ability to maintain composure, professionalism, and objectivity under pressure.
• Strong project-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, guest-satisfaction, revenue, and market data to make sound business decisions.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to seek input from support personnel, peers, ownership, and hotel associates.
• Willingness to receive feedback, adjust strategies, and implement organizational initiatives.
• Valid driver's license.
