Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with aircraft technical experts to create SQL/Python queries, data modeling, and dashboards that extract, analyze, and visualize data from AHTMS in Databricks.
• Transform raw aircraft health data into actionable insights that decrease aircraft downtime and prevent aircraft on ground events.
• Serve the Reliability and Performance Analytics program by delivering insights that drive business decisions.
• Leverage Power BI, DAX, Python, Databricks, SharePoint, MATLAB as required.
• Maintain shared document libraries within MS SharePoint.
• Extract and transform data from internal databases using Power Query; SQL experience required.
• Provide subject matter expertise on analysis and visualization of large data sets.
• Perform normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, briefings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related;
  Master’s may offset 1 year experience;
  PhD may offset 2 years.
• 3 years relevant business/technical experience; proven analytical and process-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX; high proficiency in Python desired;
  Databricks experience preferred.
• SQL experience required;
  Power Query, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio experience required.
• Excellent communication; stakeholder engagement; software development lifecycle knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
• Experience in testing design and execution of test cases.
