Maintenance Superintendent | Cathedral Basilica of St. John Baptist

The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist has an opening for a maintenance superintendent. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position that reports to the Rector of the Cathedral. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting regular, detailed inspections of the facilities’ mechanical systems, managing the work of the maintenance staff and overseeing the work of contractors and vendors.

Candidates must be energetic and self-starter with extensive experience in mechanical systems, especially those in a historic building. Supervisory experience is an added plus.

VIRTUS training and a criminal background check are required for hiring at parishes and the Diocese of Savannah.
