Be our next MEI/CEI Project Manager for Savannah/Jesup, GA

Your work environment at EXP

EXP is seeking a MEI/CEI Project Manager for our Jesup, GA office. This individual will be responsible for project management of GDOT and local government contract administration of assigned projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance with plans, contract documents, specifications, and standards.
  • Interact with the public, government agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and other parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
  • Direct and assign tasks to inspectors.
  • Notify contractors of non-compliance and corrective actions.
  • Track project progress and advise parties of overruns and critical issues.
  • Analyze project-related issues and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate administrative aspects including contract reviews, scheduling, project accounting, reporting, and cash management.
  • Assist in developing marketing and communication materials.
  • Review plans for constructability and bid-ability.
  • Represent the company at community and business meetings.
  • Participate in developing new project proposals and RFPs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Promote positive relations with contractors, vendors, and consultants.
  • What your experience looks like

    • Six (6) years of responsible construction or engineering experience, including two (2) years involving major road or bridge structures.
